Red Cattleya Orchid, glass beads, and freshwater pearls
This ethereal and enchanting piece is inspired by the greek goddess Circe. She is a powerful witch that lives on an island, and possessed absolute mastery over transmutation, poisons, and illusions. My favorite part about her is that she once turned men who are disrespectful to her and her friends into pigs. This piece represents her when she is at her most peaceful moment in the morning, making tea and enjoying the sunrise in solitude, within a fragrant outdoor garden on the island of Aeaea, a lush, wooded island surrounded by a menagerie of lions and wolves that were originally men whom she had enchanted. :)
